Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently with cash handling skills.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Cook and assemble menu items following food safety protocols and quality standards; handle food with care to maintain freshness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in the bar, dining area, and kitchen to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with catering events or banquet service when needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in high-volume settings like nightclubs or large gatherings.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service while adhering to food handling regulations and safety guidelines.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling and cashiering abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bartending, or restaurant operations; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures; familiarity with alcohol serving laws and responsible beverage service.
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for accurate order entry, billing, and retail math calculations.
• Previous experience in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events or retail food industry is highly desirable.
