Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tabs while maintaining efficiency during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures; perform cashiering duties with integrity.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet services to ensure seamless service delivery during special events or functions.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by recognizing intoxication signs and adhering to alcohol service laws.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality customer interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
- Experience in fine dining or retail math is advantageous for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to engage diverse clientele positively.
- Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry standards enhances your ability to serve craft beverages confidently.
