Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Inspect and maintain pool, fitness center, and other amenity areas
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, hotel standards, and Marriott brand guidelines
- Maintain accurate logs of completed maintenance work and inspections
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and safety guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on labor throughout the shift
