Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for various surfaces while adhering to safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote eco-friendly practices
- Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality settings or similar environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and stripping floors
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures is a plus
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy items when necessary
