Description
The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for the following:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, dusting, and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
- Stock & maintain housekeeping cart daily
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to manager or supervisor in a timely manner
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
- Must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for part-time status
- Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work, and overtime as required
- Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards
- Review and approve electronic timecard weekly for accuracy
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by leadership.

The associate will be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
