Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will help create memorable stays for our guests, contributing to the overall excellence of our hotel operations.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, elevators, and lobbies by sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing when required
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding security and confidentiality of guest information
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
