We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Restaurant Cashier / Cafe / Deli team member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, handling transactions, food service, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their orders at the register using POS system.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service.
- Prepare simple food items and assist with food presentation in the café or deli area.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the food prep and serving areas, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support food safety protocols by following health regulations and proper food storage procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
- Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and keeping the café tidy for an inviting atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is a plus but not required; we’re happy to train!
- Familiarity with POS systems is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while multitasking between cashiering and food prep.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing quick calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.

Compensation:
- Pay starts at $15 per hour. With cash tips you will realistically make $18-20 per hour.
