Internet Sales Manager

Position Summary

The Internet Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all online sales activities, internet lead generation, and digital customer interactions. This position ensures timely follow-up with internet leads, drives showroom traffic, improves conversion rates, and helps achieve dealership sales goals through exceptional customer service and effective sales management. This position will be responsible for overseeing all 9 Courtesy Dealerships in Phoenix, Tucson and San Diego. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming internet sales leads from dealership websites, third-party lead providers, social media platforms, and manufacturer sources.
• Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and online chat.
• Develop and maintain processes that maximize lead conversion and appointment-setting performance.
• Monitor internet sales team performance, including lead response times, appointment rates, show rates, and sales conversions.
• Train, coach, and motivate sales consultants on effective internet sales techniques and CRM utilization.
• Maintain accurate customer records and communications within the dealership CRM system.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager to achieve dealership sales objectives.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
• Assist customers with vehicle selection, pricing, financing options, and product information.
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate inventory availability and online vehicle merchandising efforts with management.
• Ensure internet pricing, vehicle listings, and promotional information remain accurate and competitive.
• Stay current on industry trends, digital marketing strategies, and dealership best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of automotive sales experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and internet lead management tools.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership software systems.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  
  

Preferred:

• Prior automotive dealership Internet Sales Manager experience.
• Experience with manufacturer lead programs.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media advertising, and online reputation management.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles safely.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
