What are the responsibilities and job description for the Probation Officer position at Court Programs, Inc.?
21 yrs of age, with Criminal Justice experience or customer relations skills. Veterans preference. HS diploma, although 2yr degree is preferred at a minimum. Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm with periodic evening work. Pre employment drug screen and background check.
Representative for Court Programs by attending Courts. Assists
The Judge or Clerk if needed. Completes and covers all
Paper work/Information required for the defendant to
Began his/her probation period. Makes sure documents are
Turned in to the proper person/location for data entry.
Monitors his/her defendants by monthly report dates for
Each defendant. The P.O. keeps records of all documents,
Receipts, etc. to confirm compliance or non-compliance in
Accordance to all Court ordered conditions. Responsible
For narrative documentations. Reports termination,
Pending violation, violation, compliance, non-compliance,
Modification information to the court as directed in the
Employee training. Sends out any necessary letters to
Defendant.
Schedules defendant’s next return
Date. Represents and advocates CPI in a positive and
Professional manner to promote CPI revenue and
Programs offered. Administer Drug Tests. Must be
Able to follow directives.
