Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with inquiries about services, events, and amenities
- Manage the pro shop inventory, including sales of merchandise, equipment rentals, and food service items
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Support event management activities by setting up equipment, coordinating guest participation, and ensuring smooth operations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with conflict management by resolving guest issues amicably and escalating concerns when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support lifeguard duties when required, including monitoring pool areas and enforcing safety rules
- Engage with children and families through friendly interactions and activities to enhance their experience
- Contribute to a lively atmosphere by participating in or facilitating public speaking engagements or entertainment during events or gatherings
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Background in events management or coordinating group activities is advantageous
- Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle guest concerns effectively
- Experience working with children or in a recreational environment enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
