Course 26 is seeking a full-time Finance & Accounting Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the asset management industry. Candidates who work hard and perform well will have several opportunities for growth and professional development. This position is located in Fort Worth, Texas, and it is in-office at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve internal systems and processes
- Calculate monthly portfolio performance
- Help prepare GAAP financial statements for multiple funds and other entities
- Assist with annual audits
- Help prepare tax documents
- Calculate management fees and partnership expenses
- Prepare wires and distributions
- Monitor investment portfolios and assist with investments and trade activities
Skills, abilities, and personality
- Exceptionally hard working
- High integrity and low ego
- Independent problem solver
- High level of maturity and discretion for confidential information
- MUST have advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, sumif, array formulas, etc). Please do not submit an application if you have little or no experience with advance functions
- Advance knowledge of GAAP accounting is not required, but it is preferred
Experience
- No previous experience is required. Ideal candidates have at least one year of accounting, finance, or strategic consulting experience
