About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Head of People Operations to lead our people strategy and build a world-class employee experience. As a partner to company leadership, you'll be responsible for developing and executing people programs that scale with our growth while maintaining our culture and values.

What You’ll Do

Employee Experience & Culture

• Champion and evolve company culture through intentional programs and initiatives.
• Design and execute comprehensive onboarding and employee development programs.
• Create and manage performance management systems that drive accountability and growth.
• Build employee engagement initiatives that foster connection and belonging across remote/hybrid teams.

Strategic Leadership

• Partner with executive leadership to align people strategy with business objectives.
• Design and implement scalable HR infrastructure, policies, and processes to support company growth.
• Lead talent acquisition strategy and build recruiting operations to attract top-tier healthcare and tech talent.
• Develop data-driven insights on workforce trends, retention, and organizational health.

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee all HR operations including HRIS management, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all locations.
• Manage compensation strategy, equity programs, and total rewards philosophy.
• Develop and maintain employee handbook, policies, and HR documentation.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build and mentor a high-performing people operations team as the company scales.
• Coach managers on people management best practices, difficult conversations, and team development.
• Lead organizational design efforts to optimize team structure and reporting relationships.

Who You Are

• 10 years of HR/People Operations experience, with at least 3 years at a high-growth startup.
• This role follows a hybrid collaboration model with 4 days per week in‑office.
• Proven track record building people operations from early stage through scale (ideally in healthcare, tech, or high-growth startups).
• Deep expertise in employment law, HR compliance, and risk management.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and HR tech stack implementation.
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate people metrics into strategic insights.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
• Data-driven decision maker who balances analytics with human intuition.
• Passionate about creating inclusive workplaces.

The annual salary range for the target level for this role is $200,000 to $230,000  equity benefits, including medical, dental, and vision. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, interview performance, and internal equity.
