- Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Must have valid driver's license and update insurance.
- Load and unload packages using following safe driving practices.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures when required, and ensure all packages are accounted for during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or electronic tracking systems, updating status in real-time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery times, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Must have the ability to deliver 75 to 100 packages daily.Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge Experience in the importance of quality delivery.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, route updates, and documentation during deliveries.
