About the Opportunity

Courier Express is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Regional Sales to lead, develop, and support our regional sales team. This leadership position plays a key role in driving sales performance, executing strategic initiatives, and supporting the continued growth of our organization.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for coaching and developing high-performing sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute regional sales strategies to support company growth and business objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Regional Account Managers to maximize individual and team performance.
• Establish performance expectations, monitor results, and hold team members accountable for achieving strategic sales goals.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to ensure the successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support of customer accounts.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of organizational sales processes.
• Oversee sales pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to identify opportunities and support business planning.
• Ensure accurate and effective use of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals who demonstrate Courier Express's values and company culture.
• Partner with executive leadership on corporate planning, sales initiatives, and long-term growth strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of previous management experience preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing, coaching, and developing sales teams.
• Strong understanding of strategic selling, sales processes, and business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and capable of working effectively across multiple departments.
