What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver with Cargo / Sprinter / Transit Van / small Box Truck position at Courier Express?
COURIER EXPRESS is seeking independent contractor couriers for final-mile routes in your vehicle. You would come into the same warehouse and same lane daily. Service the same zip codes on your route Monday-Friday. We service thousands of locations daily in Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding area, so come on by and get the route closest to your home!
We are accepting Cargo, Transit, Sprinter and small Box Trucks into our operation at this time for a variety of different routes available in the daytime, nighttime, and weekends. We have many routes available to choose from.
Weekly Settlement $1000 - $1,300
INSURANCE REQUIREMENT of 100k/300k/50k
-$100,000 BODILY INJURY
-$300,000 PER OCCURRENCE
-$50,000 PROPERTY DAMAGE
-$500K over 10,000 Pounds
Contractual Requirements:
• Must provide your own vehicle – Sprinters/ Cargo / Transit Vans / small Box Truck (16ft or less)
• Good driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Drivers must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Pass a drug screen and a felony background check.
* Must be proficient in using a SMARTPHONE /GOOD WITH TECHNOLOGY
* HAND TRUCK/DOLLY is recommended
