We are hiring for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at our Coupeville location!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay Range: Starting at $28/hour depending on experience
Schedule: 8 hour shift, 10 hour shift

Duties
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including medical terminology related to treatments administered.
- Ensure a clean and safe clinic environment by following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in orthopedic cases.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
