What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Production & Inventory Coordinator position at Coup D'Etat, Inc.?
Furniture Production & Inventory Coordinator (COUP STUDIO & COUP XX Lines) San Francisco Bay Area · Full-time · On-site
Coup d'Etat is a luxury design showroom known for breaking barriers in product curation, visual display, and customer experience. We're growing — and we're looking for a hands-on, highly organized Furniture Production & Inventory Coordinator to own the day-to-day production, quality control, and logistics behind our COUP STUDIO and COUP XX lines.
This is a full-time role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced studio and warehouse environment and is ready to take real ownership. You'll work closely with our Studio Production Manager, who will guide and mentor you as you step into managing much of the studio's daily workload.
What you'll do
- Own the flow of warehouse inventory — receiving, tracking, physical counts, and reporting across showrooms and storage facilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for deliveries, vendors, and shippers visiting the Studio
- Enforce quality control standards on all COUP STUDIO and COUP XX products and production orders
- Coordinate shipping logistics for floor consignment items to and from all Coup d'Etat showrooms, and help prepare COUP XX container deliveries
- Facilitate vintage (COUP XX) product refurbishment and keep product information current for tear sheets, sales collateral, photoshoots, and the website
- Process shipping invoices through our ERP (NetSuite) and liaise with workrooms, manufacturers, and shippers
- Support showroom resets, product assembly and packaging, sample fulfillment, and general studio upkeep
What we're looking for
- 2 years in inventory management, furniture, or decorative arts (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
- A self-starter who can independently manage a busy, varied workload
- Comfortable in a warehouse environment, with the physical ability to lift and move inventory
- Hands-on CRM/ERP experience (NetSuite or Salesforce a plus); proficient in Word and Excel
- A genuine passion for luxury furniture design and decorative arts
Why Coup d'Etat Full-time position with excellent benefits, mentorship from an experienced Studio Production Manager, and the chance to take real ownership of a role at a respected name in luxury design.
