What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at County Physical Therapy?
This position is for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in a busy outpatient rehab clinic. Our approach is patient-oriented treatment plans, with strong focus on outcomes and results.
Duties include:
- Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, execute patient treatment plans in an outpatient private-practice setting, with a broad range of orthopedic exposure.
- Treatment plans are constructed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function, incorporating exercises, activities, and modalities to aid in recovery.
- Thorough and timely documentation of daily treatments and delivery of care.
- Communicate and Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree program.
- Valid and active State of Maine license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Recent physical therapist assistant graduates pursuing licensing also welcome to apply.
- Strong patient care approach, with a focus on functional outcomes.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a cooperative, team environment.
- Clinical experience in an outpatient, physical therapy practice preferred.
