What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Food Site Supervisor 2025 position at County of Volusia?
The County of Volusia is seeking a Summer Food Service Program Site Supervisor for the Community Assistance Division. This position will be located at various locations throughout Volusia County, and will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and distributing meals, as well as, completing required documents. Candidate must be able to provide great customer service and work well with children.
This position is located within the Division of Community Assistance and will be affiliated with the Summer Food Program. This position will tentatively start June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025.
**NOTE: This position is posted on a continuous basis and may close without notice.
- Work hours are: Monday-Friday, four (4) hours a day.
- Must pass Level II criminal background screening and drug screen.

- Orders, receives, and distributes meals based upon program guidelines.
- Completes required documents daily for compliance.
- Performs related work as required.
- Communicates daily with office staff.
- Provide great customer service to internal and external customers.
- Attends work on a regular and consistent basis.
- Must adhere to Federal, State, County and Local ordinances.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED.
Must be able to work daily and hours noted.
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age on or before June 2, 2025.
Note: A social security card is required for payroll purposes.
Must pass required background check (fingerprinting and drug screen).
