The St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, located in Farmington, Missouri, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. This is a full-time position in a high-volume, fast-paced office. The successful candidate will work closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to prosecute criminal cases from investigation through trial.
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Represent the citizens of St. Francois County in criminal prosecutions.
- Manage a substantial caseload from initial filing through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other filings.
- Develop and deliver effective trial advocacy.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and fellow prosecutors.
Qualifications:
- Must be a member of good standing with the Missouri Bar Association.
- Previous prosecutorial or trial experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
