** June 2026 – 4.77% increase to base pay (3.5% Across-the-Board 1.27% Market Adjustment)
** June 2027 – 4.27% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the- Board 1.27% Market Adjustment)

The timeline for this recruitment is outlined below.
i. Job Offer and Background Process begins: Shortly after the interviews. Note: Current County employees may be excluded from additional background screening.
ii. Pre-employment Medical Screening: Approximately 3 days following successful background investigation results.
iii. Anticipated Start Date: Start date will be based upon successful completion of medical screening or other mutually agreed upon date.

1. Two (2) years of cashiering, bank teller, or cash vault teller experience or other similar cashier/teller experience; OR,
NOTES:
- Previous experience must have included interaction with the public, in which cash handling responsibilities were performed
- Previous experience must have included receiving large sums of currency, scrutinizing negotiable instruments, balancing daily receipts and posting payments
- The successful completion of at least six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter units of college level coursework in accounting, business administration, finance, or a closely related field may substitute for up to one (1) year of the experience requirements stated above.
- Experience limited to serving as a cashier in a fast-food chain or similar establishment is not considered qualifying.
- Paid experience in performing rapid and accurate cash handling duties is highly desirable
