What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practical Nurse, MAT Program - Correctional Facility (Part-Time) position at County of Salem?
DESCRIPTION: Under direction of a Registered Professional Nurse in the Correctional Facility, performs the duties required to care for clients; carries out medical orders prescribed by a licensed physician that require an understanding of elementary nursing, but not the professional service outlined in the definition of professional nursing; does related work as required. Assist medical unit with the coordination and distribution of medication for the MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) Program. Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 20lbs.
LICENSE: Applicants must possess a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Jersey. Persons who possess the registration by waiver must have satisfactorily completed an approved refresher program.
RATE: $26.27 per hour (higher starting salary commensurate upon experience)
SCHEDULE: Rotating 7 days a week, 7:00 am – 11:00 am.
*Additional hours may be offered on a per diem basis.
