Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong background in law and be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in their area of expertise. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day guidance to legal, paralegal and clerical staff
- Attending public hearings, boards, commission meetings, and meetings with County, public and elected officials
- Participating in meetings and conferences
- Working with legal staff in the handling of their assigned cases
Additionally, the candidate must meet all current requirements of Section 3 of the Public Officers Law, including United States citizenship and applicable residency requirements.
