What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Recovery Coach position at County of Monmouth?
AA facilitator at MCCI:
- Two four-hour works days
- Facilitate three one-hour AA classes, including "Open" and "12 Step" formats
- Meet with inmates on all housing units who wish to engage in additional AA services
- Provide AA literature to inmates upon request
- Provide information about AA meetings in the community to inmates who are scheduled for release
- Attend one-hour weekly Substance Abuse Services Staff Meeting per week; one-hour quarterly joint Staff Meeting with Substance Abuse Services and Social Services
Community Service Aide: ( two days a week as needed)
- Must have certification as a Recovery Coach.
- Will attend community events, meetings, and/or programs as a facilitator in resources, making connections for treatment, and providing education on substance use and recovery.
- Occasionally present educational programs on opioids to high school students.
- Will be required to drive the Hope One Truck representing the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.
