About The Position
Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager, the Senior Department Analyst is the organizational champion for the Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit within the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS). The MLE Unit leads innovative initiatives aimed at increasing health and social equity and improving outcomes across the County of Marin. The Unit is a clearing house for all data and outcomes related to HHS. The Unit promotes data driven decision-making, evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement across the Department. Major areas of responsibility for the Senior Department Analyst include development of data collection tools and methods and quality improvement strategies. Specifically, some primary duties may include (but are not limited to): development and evaluation of performance metrics, serving as representative, and sometimes lead, for the Department on committees/work groups of multidisciplinary stakeholder teams, creating standardized data collection processes for continuous improvement in operations and programs, and developing meaningful data reports, including data visualizations. The Analyst serves as a liaison between HHS Divisions and other County departments in addition to serving as the primary liaison for centralized, administrative services in such areas as behavioral health, public health, social services, information technology, facilities, and human resources.
There is one (1) full-time regular hire Senior Department Analyst position available with the Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit within the Health & Human Services Department's (HHS) Planning & Administration Division.
