Deputy Probation Officer I

As a Deputy Probation Officer I, you will:
- Support and guide youth in juvenile halls and residential treatment facilities.
- Build trust and inspire change through consistent casework and mentorship.
- Identify life skills needs and help youth reach their full potential.
- Apply evidence-based practices to support rehabilitation and growth of youth.
- Help maintain safety, order, and dignity through professional conduct and, when necessary, physical intervention.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- At least 21 years of age at the time of appointment.
- No felony convictions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.
- Possess a valid California Class C Driver License at the time of appointment.
