Description:
Under limited supervision, maintains all facilities with relation to heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems (HVAC). Repairs and maintains HVAC systems throughout county facilities, to include mechanical, electrical, and gaseous components of the systems. Provides ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems. Maintain and repair ice machines. Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on buildings and equipment to include, changing filters, cleaning coils, checking and cleaning condensate pumps and lines. Preferred certifications: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for refrigeration, HVAC certifications, and a mechanical license.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
3-5 years of HVAC experience. Valid SC Driver's license.
Pay: $22.94 - $24.78 per hour
