Performs a variety of difficult and complex microbiological examinations of water samples in a laboratory; has technical responsibility for a specialized functional area of a laboratory; and performs other related duties as required.Examples of Duties:

Performs a variety of difficult and complex bacteriologic and biologic analysis of water samples;Minimum Qualifications:
Training and Experience:
A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree in bacteriology, biology, microbiology, or a related field; and
two (2) years of professional laboratory work experience involving the detection, isolation, identification, cultivation, use and/or control of microorganisms.
