What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST III position at County of Greenville - LAND DEVELOPMENT?
Greenville County Land Development is hiring for an Administrative Specialist position. This position is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Land Development office. In this role you will be in charge of calendar management, financial coordination, organization, record keeping, personnel record management, and customer service. On a daily basis you will set appointments, enter financial document, and service requests into county specific databases. This role works with a lot of different individuals both with staff and constituents, son strong communication is important. This role is quite versatile so experience with customer service and problem solving is a must. Desire to learn and ability to adapt quick will be important in this role. The Land Development Division is responsible for storm water and quality regulations related to new development. Direct experience in this field is not required, but GIS experience is a plus! This role works in close conjunction with the County Engineer, Deputy Director, and Permit Coordinator for Land Development Office. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in a related field or supplemented by two years of experience providing clerical and administrative support. Must have a valid South Carolina Driver's License.
