Nutritionist II - Greene County Department of Public Health is seeking a Nutritionist II to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) in the WIC program.

and standing

orders

for program

operation

and directs

daily

activities,

such as

organizing

work

flow

and work

schedules

• Assess
  
  

and evaluates

program

needs

and makes

recommendations

to

the

Health Director

and

Nursing

Supervisor

• Provide
  
  

nutrition services

in

accordance with

State and Federal

guidelines

(this

includes

performing

WIC certifications

and nutritional

assessments and providing

normal

high-risk

nutrition counseling)

• Assist
  
  

in

providing

training

and services in

accordance with

Federal and

State regulations

and

guidelines to

WIC vendors in

the

county

• Responsible
  
  

for

interviewing

and making

recommendations to

the Health

Director

and Nursing

Supervisor to

hire

personnel

• Responsible
  
  

for

ongoing

staff

training,

performance

evaluations

and initial

disciplinary actions
