- Assist animal caretaking and veterinary staff
- Clean cages, feed and exercise all animals housed in the shelter
- Observe, record and discuss animal health and behavior
- Assist with animal training and enrichment programs
- Cleans dishes and folds laundry
- On a limited basis; support the veterinarian and veterinary technician in surgery preparation, health checks, vaccinations, and microchipping
- Sort and store donations
- Prepare adoption packets and data entry
Must be able to commit to a 37.5 hour work week for a minimum of 11 weeks to include weekends and holidays as scheduled.No minimum academic requirements.
