What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Assistant - Northern Beaches (Part Time) position at County of Dare?
This is a part-time position. Instructs gymnastics in the County sports program for youth, and related work as apparent or assigned. Activities will primarily be for children between the ages of 2 – 12 years of age.. Work schedules vary from 5 to 15 hours per week depending upon activity. Work is performed under the supervision of the Leisure Programs Supervisor .
- Instructs youth in the fundamentals of gymnastics.
- Participates with children in a variety of gymnastics skills and basic tumbling.
- Communicates with parents.
- Interacts with the general public.
Knowledge of gymnastics, tumbling or cheer; general knowledge of first aid methods; ability to monitor program participants for health risk warning signs; ability to communicate effectively in an instructional environment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.High school diploma or GED
