The Clarke County Victim Witness Program is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to serve as a Part-Time Victim Witness Assistant. This position provides administrative and program support to help ensure victims and witnesses receive timely information, resources, and assistance throughout the criminal justice process.

Position Details
- Monday- Friday, Part-time hours 25–30 hours per week, hours may vary
- Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience
Essential Duties
- Assist with client intake and case documentation
- Maintain confidential records and files
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Provide information regarding court proceedings and available services
- Assist victims during court hearing
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and outreach activities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and program materials
- Perform general administrative and office support duties
- Hold interpersonal meetings with victims and clients
- Assist Director in other duties when needed and help in the absents of the Director
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community partners
- Must successfully pass a background check
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an administrative, legal, human services, or public service setting is beneficial but not required.
