Duties
1. Performs maintenance of all County Parks and Courthouse grounds.
2. Cut lawn using riding mowers, tractors, trimmers, and/or other equipment as needed for seasonal grounds upkeep.
3. Performs landscaping and activities related to general grounds maintenance.
4. Operates equipment in the installation of new facilities.
5. Assist with construction and landscape projects.
6. Collect and dispose of garbage and litter as directed.
7. Assist with set-up and tear-down for special events.
8. Assist in all elections throughout Cape Girardeau County.
9. Moves supplies, picnic tables, and equipment as directed.
10. Clean public restrooms/bathrooms located in Cape Girardeau County Parks.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
· High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
· Minimum one year of experience in ground maintenance or related field.
· Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor repairs.
· Must have and maintain a driver’s license.
