Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting power equipment safely and efficiently to customers' residences while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. This candidate would also ideally be willing to learn/perform basic routine maintanence on lawn and garden equipment, while not on the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks with trailers, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and delivery procedures.

Requirements
- Must be 21 yrs or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles with trailers is preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail is essential for this role.
