Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at Countrywide Tire & Rubber. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of delivering exceptional products and services.
Responsibilities
- Communicates prospects, account activity, concerns, and ideas regularly.
- Presents regularly to potential customers and proactively seeks new business opportunities.
- Identifies customers’ needs, suggests appropriate products and services, and manages customer revenue while achieving monthly sales targets.
- Provides regular two-way communications between the customers and the sales/customer service team.
- Gains an overall understanding of company capabilities, services and communicates them to the customers/prospects.
- Conducts ongoing reviews of existing accounts to evaluate their demands, usages, and prospects for them.
- Determines the best types of services/products to satisfy customer/prospect needs as well as Countrywide’s objectives.
- Grows current customer revenue through expansion in line items and units as well as new products.
- Prospects regularly to gain new accounts for Countrywide.
- Independently negotiates agreements and closes deals.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years minimum previous job experience in sales (wholesale/B2B/retail/B2C experience is preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven account management skills required for lead generation, as well as maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction required.
- Excellent telephone skills, computer knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
