What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Clinical Services position at Countryside Lodge of Harrison?
Serves as the designated multidisciplinary team leader that is responsible for:
• Overseeing the development of the treatment plan for those home and community-based services to be performed by the CSSP.
• Monitoring the CSSP’s delivery of all home and community-based services included in the person’s treatment plan.
• Directly supervising the CSSP employees performing the home and community-based services included in the person’s treatment plan.
• Providing case consultation and in-service training to members of the multidisciplinary team, as needed
Qualifications:
Must holds one (1) of the following State of Arkansas licenses or certifications:
- Certified Social Worker LCSW
- Psychologist, Psychological Examiner
- Independent; Professional Counselor LPC; Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT
- Advanced Practice Nurse with: A specialty in psychiatry or mental health
- A minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience post master’s degree or Clinical Nurse Specialist with: A specialty in psychiatry or mental health
- A minimum of two (2) years’ clinical experience post master’s degree.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize resources efficiently and effectively toward program and organizational goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort.
- Works collaboratively with development and communications to identify program needs, employee recruitment, and referrals for service.
- Generates referrals and admissions to the program and serves as a professional resource to the community and referral sources regarding this program.
- Mental health assessments, treatment planning and direct services. Responsible for plan of care, periodic reviews, individual, group and family psychotherapy, case conceptualization, consultation, and supervision of paraprofessional staff.
- Must have knowledge and possess de-escalation techniques, CPR and First Aid Certification and meet yearly continuing education requirements.
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of mental illness and general knowledge of psychotropic medications, i.e. benefits, risks, and side effects.
- Knowledge of the mental health system and legal system, community resources, entitlements and benefits of population served.
- Maintain healthy relationships, advocate for the people to ensure needs are met through a Person-Centered approach according to policy and procedure.
- Monitor the health and safety of members, the signs and symptoms of their mental illness, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Utilize a team approach to ensure services prescribed are provided in compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Provide after hours, on-call coverage as assigned.
- Ensure all documentation is completed timely.
- Responds to request from the Utilization Department for additional information on reconsiderations, peer-to-peer, and extension of benefits.
- Ensure adequate information is provided by coordinating with 911 monitor/guardian/other for Tier Assessments scheduled times.
- Ensures that any court orders or legal issues are attended to timely and documented accurately in the clinical record.
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
