Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development stages, including preschool and toddler care.
• Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative arts to promote holistic growth.
• Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with children by providing individualized attention and supporting their social-emotional needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor child development and tailor instruction accordingly.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or childcare environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety in emergency situations.
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math, or other core subjects for young children is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to all local licensing requirements and mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
