What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at Countryside Auto Repair?
Job Summary
We are a fast paced shop with an abundance of work. We are looking to expand our shop. We currently have 3 two post lifts and one alignment rack. We’re looking for anyone from a Lube tech with no experience to a world class A tech. We work 8-5 Monday-Friday no weekends. We are willing to negotiate payment method. We offer salary, hourly, or flat rate. We offer paid time off, sick leave and parental leave.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Repair and replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems.
- Work with advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs effectively.
Pay: $18.00 - $45.00 per hour
