Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our assisted living team. The CMA is responsible for administering medications as prescribed, monitoring residents for changes in condition, and providing direct resident care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resident-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional care in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
- Monitor residents for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Communicate resident concerns and changes to nursing staff and healthcare providers.
- Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in compliance with state regulations.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Skills
- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
- Current CNA certification
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior care preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
