PREFERRED SKILLS
Accuracy, confidence, dependability, and good communication are all beneficial skills for this position. Maintenance experience is also preferred.
Qualifications:ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install fuel propane and DEF tanks and systems at customer locations.
- Maintain customer owned tanks and systems at customer location.
- Learn and observe propane and fuel system codes for installation and maintenance.
- Deliver and pickup propane tanks from customer locations.
- Effectively communicate safety and repair information to customers.
- Be available for afterhours and weekends on call service rotation.
- Learn how to perform Safety and Compliance tests, check system for proper operation and Relight pilot lights at customer locations
- Maintain company owned fleet of portable fuel tanks.
- Install/Repair petroleum pumps on fuel tanks.
- Obtain CDL, Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
- Deliver Propane/Petroleum with Commercial propane truck as Backup/Relief driver.
HOURS
- First Shift hours typically 7am to 4pm
- On Call once a month with Premium Pay
- No Weekends unless on call
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate must possess a valid CDL and Hazmat endorsement. Tanker Endorsement.
