Job Description
Country Village Ace Hardware is looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Store Associate to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and helping our community find the right products for their home, outdoor, and project needs.
As a Store Associate, you will assist customers throughout the store, help maintain merchandise displays, operate the register, and support day-to-day store operations. Ideal candidates enjoy working with people, staying active, and being part of a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and product assistance
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and maintain organized merchandise displays
- Assist with unloading freight and inventory management
- Help customers locate products and recommend solutions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
- Support seasonal departments and promotions as needed
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Retail, hardware, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout shifts
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
