Full time/Part time Housekeepers

We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team in a long-term care healthcare setting. The Housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, offices, and other facility spaces according to established procedures.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices and facility cleaning protocols.
• Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and areas as required.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident and public areas while respecting residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.
• Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning needs.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments to support a safe and comfortable environment.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, damaged equipment, or other environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable healthcare and infection-control standards.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospital, hotel, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to interact respectfully and compassionately with older adults and individuals with varying care needs.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling equipment, and lifting as required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
