- Greet and interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
- Assist with customers’ orders by loading and unloading products as needed.
- Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse.
- Assemble products and displays.
- Deliver products to customer delivery points.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities.
- Dispense propane and kerosene.
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Safely and regularly operate a vehicle to make deliveries, visit various worksites, other businesses or customer locations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
- Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (or 18 years of age with a valid commercial driver’s license) to operate a commercial motor vehicle (10,001 lbs. GVWR).
- Be able to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate for the operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
- Maintain a safe and insurable driving record.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop and kneel frequently
- Lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 pounds.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proven track record of being dependable and reliable.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating websites and receiving/sending emails.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, lawn & garden or wild bird supplies.
- Experience safely operating pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
SCHEDULE
This is a part-time position. 16-32 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday (schedule may vary). Must be
available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
$17.50 – $21.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:

Salary : $18 - $21
