Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining a clean dining environment in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and improve guest relations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or casual setting
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and managing guest relations professionally
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or host/hostess roles will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately
