JOB SUMMARY

- Understand and demonstrate equipment characteristics, capabilities, and features, develop and qualify buyers, and close sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop an understanding of equipment by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features between models.
- Give customers a fantastic experience with dealer products by reviewing characteristics, capabilities, model features and options, warranties, service, etc.
- Be a brand ambassador and project a positive image to customers and the community
- Work with the sales manager and marketing to help develop campaigns, sales programs and events to help move product
- Assist in setting up the showroom floor to best merchandise equipment
- Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory to match demand in the area
- Stay up-to-date on ordering and equipment rebate programs to give customers the best programs possible
- Accurately log customer data in the business system to efficiently follow up with, track and convert leads
- Develop relationships with customers and find creative solutions for their equipment needs.
- Stay current on industry and product developments by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining brand training and certifications
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with customer service or sales
- Must be motivated, positive and possess an outgoing personality
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Sales: 1 year (Required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- Previous powersports or marine experience a definite plus.
