Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that bring architectural visions to life, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal on our construction sites. Your expertise will contribute to building resilient structures, from foundations to decorative finishes, utilizing a broad range of masonry techniques and materials. Responsibilities

• Construct and install concrete forms, rebar frameworks, and scaffolding necessary for various projects.
• Lay bricks, stones, blocks, and concrete units with precision to meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Install building materials such as stucco, plastering layers, trim carpentry elements, and roofing components as required.
• Operate power tools safely to cut, shape, and place masonry materials efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working at heights or on scaffolding; maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Conduct mortar work including mixing, applying, and finishing mortar joints for stability and aesthetic appeal.
• Engage in renovation or restoration projects by repairing or restoring existing masonry structures with precision craftsmanship.

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on masonry or related trades such as bricklaying or stone masonry.
• Hands-on experience with concrete masonry units (CMUs), concrete forming systems, and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of building material installation including mortar work, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, and trim carpentry.
• Ability to operate hand tools (trowels, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), safely on construction sites.
• Experience building masonry scaffolds or working at heights using proper safety procedures.
• Understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued.
• Commitment to safety protocols adherence in all aspects of work on diverse construction sites.
