What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Registered Vet Tech/Vet Asst position at Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital?
We are looking to add a PT Registered Veterinary Technician, or PT Assistant Technician to our team.
Country Oaks Veterinary Hospital is a small privately owned 1 Doctor practice, open for 20 years. We see dogs, cats and the occasional rabbit. We are full service general practice. Currently open Monday - Friday, no weekends.
RVT position job duties include: rooming patients, assisting with surgeries, anesthesia, dental cleaning, treatment, extractions and radiographs. Drug calculations, cold laser therapy, blood draws, IV catheter, digital radiographs, discharging and general outpatient appointments. Looking for 1-2 years experience, current CA RVT license.
Assistant Technician position duties include: general outpatient appointments, proper handling, vaccines, cleaning, pharmacy, blood draws, radiographs and assisting the RVT and DR's. Looking for 1 year experience minimum.
Hours; approx 21hrs per/wk. Mon-Fri. Possible schedule; Mon and Wed 8:30am-5:30pm, and Fri 9:00am-1:00pm. Pay is dependent on experience, Offering $22-30 per/hr. This positions benefits will include some employee perks, scrub allowance, 40hr sick pay, 401K.
