Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track residents’ health status
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols under supervision or as authorized by healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular safety checks around the facility to ensure a clean, hazard-free environment; assist with light cleaning duties, and laundry as needed
- Document resident progress, incidents, and care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless communication among care team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings is desirable but not necessary
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring
- Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while maintaining residents’ dignity and independence
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward seniors
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation is advantageous
- Must be able to pass a background check
