Qualifications
- Passion for working with older adults, including individuals with physical, cognitive, or psychological challenges.
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused with a desire to enrich the lives of others.
- Basic knowledge of aging and memory loss, or willingness to complete specialized memory care training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Energetic, creative, and eager to contribute ideas for engaging resident programming.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and assist with group and individual resident activities.
- Assist the LEP Coordinator in developing program activities and goals for residents, based upon individual needs.
- Communicate with the Home Health Aide/Nursing Assistant as needed to comply with the physical needs of each resident.
- Support Country Manor's mission, vision, values, and Hometown Culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
